41 Greek minority villages in Dropolis (Δρόπολη, Albanian: Dropull) in the province of Argyrokastro (Αργυρόκαστρο, Albanian: Gjirokastër) in North Epirus (southern Albania) were out of power for the third consecutive day.

According to Proto Thema, the continuous rainfall of the past few days has flooded Argyrokastro's high-voltage substation, where the electricity supply for the area comes from.

As a result, the area has been out of power for three days.

Coupled with floods on the plains, roads and villages, and severe cold, the indigenous Greeks of North Epirus have been experiencing great difficulties.

Other parts of the country have also experienced problems caused by bad weather.

The water level of the Oss River has exceeded historical levels, causing overflow and flooding in many areas of the southwest of the country, especially in the final stage before entering the sea.

The water level in the flooded area has reached one meter.

Avlona Avlona (Αυλώνας, Albanian: Vlorë) and Fieri (Φιέρι) are particularly problematic.

Many houses and families were flooded, and 50 families were evacuated.

In addition, crops and livestock units were also destroyed by bad weather.

There are also problems in the northern and southeastern regions of the country due to snowfall.
